    I think I get it.  Find a radio that takes C or D batteries.  Cut off the power cord so I'm not tempted to electrocute myself.  Find the right connections on the volume pot and wire the amp jack to that.  Have a drink and try again.

    Hey Beatle. I still haven’t figured it out yet other than gutting the radio for the case. I’ve tried several times but haven’t seen any videos that show clearly how to do it. Any sources for clear instructions?

    That is a real nice piece. I have 2 old tube radios I want to hack, but I don't have the skills yet.
