My first build, he says proudly. If it sounded one quarter as good as it looks I would be happy indeed; as it is I'm glad to have made most of the beginner's mistakes on this one. The next one will, after all, involve an actual cigar box...

    My first build was also a can... a can full of rookie mistakes. lol

    There y'go, pics of the slides now up for your perusal. They never leave the 'studio', while the stubby just goes in a pocket...

    Do you know, I've only had a metal slide on it so far (Shane Speal Stubby no less!) and I do have a couple of nice ceramic jobs... You may have to wait a day or two so's I can come up with a third-rate Beetlejuicy idea...

    Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way disappointed. Incredulous that I've built a musical instrument yes, but disappointed? Hull, no!
