I'll admit my ignorance here - I don't know if these are single coils, humbuckers, or something else. I don't even know what the screws along the top edge do, or what they're for.Anybody have an idea as to what they are?

They look like nice old pickups. The screws are adjustments to balance the sound of each string. I think they are single coil, maybe for a lap steel. Nice pups...

I would have to slap some tuners and a nut on that old dog, and string it up---might be worth restoring!
