Punch Box cutout 1

To avoid math, my least favorite subject, I laid thiss box onto it's side and traced the outline onto the very corner of a stock piece of computer paper. I made sure to keep the box square on the sheet of paper when I traced it at the corner of that computer sheet of paper. I then cut out the paper outline of the box. I folded the peper in half and then cut a V-notch into it so that when I opened up the paper, it gave me the very center to positon onto my box to make a cutout for my guitar neck. No math involved and I can easily make myself a duplicate template on some scrap plastic for any addiitional cbg builds with a box this size. I marked th epeper at an edge to account for how far to drop down with the template so that the lid to the box would close properly once the hole was cut into the box and the neck was inserted. The wood scrap piece is the same size as the neck, so it works well to play about with in constructing the hole and fitting the neck into it. I filed down the edges of the hole and the end result seems to be a tight fit hole for the neck to fit into when building this CBG.
