prototype

This guy saw a cookie tin banjo I made for a friend and got in touch with me about building him something. He wanted something a little more complicated than what I've done in the past... so I made a prototype. (He sent me tuners and strings he wanted used on his instrument... I ended up using similar ones that I had.) Anyway, there are still a few changes coming... the fork tailpiece isn't working so I'm going to have the strings terminate in the body like I often do.Specs:5 string banjo26.25" scalemaple neckcherry fingerboard (his will be rosewood... but that was twice as expensive... so the prototype has cherry) (this was my first time doing a seperate fingerboard)large Las Cabrillas cigar box (he wanted the rad ship design... I have another for his build)glued up headstock & cut design (my first time doing either)geared 5 string tuner (my first time installing one... had to buy a special taper tool)standard piezo pickup
