Granville was captured in Randolph County Arkansas by the Union.Randolph County is located in Northeastern Arkansas and is surrounded by the following counties: Sharp County, Arkansas * Lawrence County, Arkansas * Greene County, Arkansas * Clay County, Arkansas * Oregon County, Missouri * and Ripley County, Missouri. Granville fought for the confederacy and his 1st cousin John F. Prock fought for the Union
