Thanks wormil. The white bits you see on the bridge, nut, fret markers, and headstock inlay is wooly mammoth tusk. The wood itself is an off-cut from an anceient 10,000 year old tree that was found preserved in 100% saturation under the earth in New Zealand. The tuners are buffalo horn. I loved building this one, but i find fretless ukulele difficult to play. I currently have it tuned like a mandolin instead.
