Pot lid reso

The start of my reso build. Mahogany neck, walnut finger board, Immigrant suit case box with leather handle, aluminum cone, pot lid cover plate, sink snares for the sound hole.

    Yep, I think the versatility of a pickup would be good.   Needs a ratty looking one.

    Yes Uncle. Prolly be a lap girl. I am going to fret her though. So if that turns out I might give her low enough action to be played like Ratty. Fingers and pinky slide. I might add a pickup too.

    It,s not all wood. The outer material is Masonite. It's tough though. I'm closing on the bracing. The neck is fit in the body and glued up. I'll fret the fingerboard tomorrow. Photos in the morning.
