Pickups for latest build

Alnico 2 and 43 wire on the neck, alnico 5 and 42 on the bridge. Counter wound and poled to act as a humbucker when played together. Ambrosia maple tops.

    Shanna, I found a great article on it the other day. It shows how to make one, and list everything you need. Google "Stewert McDonald trade secrets cigar box guitar pickup". Also you can find YouTube vids on how to use a sewing machine for a winder.
