  • I wanted to do something with a tiny monte box to match the 5 stringer monte box.
It does look quite wierd. :)
It may not work to well, it may play like a champ.
I will find out soon ..lol

Thanks for your comments guys, it is great to get some feedback from my fellow builders. :)
  • Cool, must be weird perspective in the photo that's messing with our eyes.:-))
  • Thanks for clearing that up for me...I really like it...I hope my first one comes out as nice.
  • Dam typo..
I used screws as dot markers...lol
  • It is a joyitas box, it is tiny..lol
The box is only 5/34 long ;)
The bridge will sit in the middle of the box to make it 25.5 scale.
The bolts are not attached to the box, string pressure keeps them in place.

I used the fret scale page at stew mac to get measurements.
    Pop rivet fret markers
And I used screws at dot markers.
This is my 2nd attempt at fret markers.
It is rough as guts, but it is a start. :)
  • Hmm, first glance would suggest the bridge has to go where the neck enters the body ... ??????

Assuming the 12th fret is half the scale.
  • why so much distance between the frets and body?...also what did you use for markers..they look like screw heads...just curious I'm starting my first CBG and I'm a little nervous..
  • Nearly done. :)
