Deep, thick box has a big beautiful sound. I sanded down some imperfections and added three layers of polyurethane.

Yes! I noticed a difference with a deeper box too. It was my goal to try to get more resonance from the wider deeper box. Glad to read I'm not alone in this finding. Great build.
