Here's my relic rebuild after several coats of varnish. I stripped off thick black paint revealing this nice sunburst on solid Mahogany body. The neck is an ebay relic Strat neck. I stripped green paint off the headstock. It's nice maple with some flashing grain. The neck is just laid on for the photo. I need to shape the end to fit the shape of the guitar.

Hey Pick, Thanks for the info. I didn't get a neck with this one. Only the body and striped plate. I've been looking at vintage guits today on ebay (as usual) and noticed some great stuff. Blue Teisco ET-400 for 190 and a Domino Teisco 3 pup for 129. Coming due in a day or two. For myself, i can't take the stress of waiting for the last second to upbid someone. My heart gets twangy. I make my bottom feeder bids and see what shakes out. I can't even watch when the time comes. I just wait till i know it over and see what comes my way. Thanks Pick for all the Teisco info. You are the Teisco man for sure.... Dave
Smokebox, i'm sure enjoying my electric guitar rebirth. I like bringing these relics back to life and tweeking them till they play the best they can. Those old pickups sure are nice with mello tones and sweet licks... You'll like it if you give an old Teisco a chance.

the Pauline is almost an exact clone as the 65 MJ-2 ..
best way to tell is to see is if the pauline text was on the headstock at one time .. with the p starting on the heel .
