acoustic/electric, 100year old piss-elm neck(i thought it was oak when i dug it out of the barn), black walnut fret board. gotta go get strings and tuners.

That's hilarious! My dad always called it piss-elm! What's the story? Did it stay straight? I know the grain in elm is real wavy and nearly impossible to split. Pretty though.

piss elm, the lumber was cut in 1945 by my grand-father, the piece i used was 3X16 quartersawn. really straight grain.
