Been wanting to do a black Partagas for a while. This one is a 4-stringer with a maple neck, lacquered in black, all gold hardware. The 24-1/2" scale fretboard is canarywood with inlayed black markers that wrap to the sides. The pick up is a 4 pole bass mag with A500k pots and a .047ohm cap. I may change out to 250k pots as the volume seems to cut out below the "8" setting when played with a small 2w amp (it's fine if I use a boost pedal) The controls are mounted in the side with a brass drawer pull. Overall, it has a nice warm tone.
