Papillon is a soprano uke. 14" scale. Ashton box, oak neck, poplar fingerboard. Corian nut and bridge. Celluloid inlays. Wood burned design on neck. This shows the recessed sound hole facade that covers the split neck through . I tested with and with out and heard no appreciable volume loss.
