I was rummaging around the shop yesterday, looking for something to build; Came across these two hockey sticks and thought; Hmmmmmm. Added a couple cigar boxes and single coil pickups, and voila! A two string and a one string Diddley Bow. Both are electric.

They both have a deep, rich sound, especially when hooked up to a pedal. They ARE strong and very easy to build. Fun to play, too. The cigar boxes are just a place to hang the pickup, output jack, volume control and bridge. I also just added some friction tape on the blade of the Macanudo stick, like hockey icemen do.

I like that you incorporated the cigar box as the body. They look strong and practical, wonder how they sound?
