This was my first Resonator made from a paint lid from HD. It sounds exceptionally well for not having a true resonator. It sounds just like a banjo and plays very well with good action and as much sustain as a normal guitar. The name on the custom ring is my father-in-law's name of whom this guitar was made for. The fret board is black walnut with bullet shells in varying sizes for the fret dots.
