not undermining unks comment , its good advice either way , looks good , pacifies ADHD , better safe than sorry syndrome , and avoids having to explain or convince others otherwise ;-)
enclosed turners like these are fine to install upsidedown . its the open gear ones that will tend to pull away from the shaft when installed that way .
Thanks for the comments, ya about the upside down tuners...I was only able to get 2 treble and 1 bass and I wanted two tuners on the to of the headstock.

Wow Taylor tuners. They are on 'upside down' but they can still last a good long time that way. The gear part should go down.
