Tom, Brian, Thanks. Its nothing too flashy but I appreciate the great comments. I did "design" it on my computer to make sure the parts and depths are correct.
Brian, Yep they are individual tuners. The holes are slightly off but that was because I goofed when I cut the holes. Eeeeps.
Tom, I wish I had a table saw to do the channel but since I don't, I had to improvise. What I did was to use a 1/8" rotozip tool bit in my drill press and put a fence on the press table as a guide. I should have used a 1/8" router bit which would have cut the channel cleaner. The rotozip tool only allowed me to go one direction and VERY slow. I must have made 20 passes before I got the 5/8" depth I needed. the rod is a 1/8" x 1/2" iron stock bar from Lowes. You can use aluminum but that was more expensive. I glued it in for the added rigidity. It's not adjustable.
