headstock-pallet wood; tuners-3 old doorknobs; neck-chalkboard chalk rail with a flagstaff stiffener[all oak]; frets-copper ground wire; bridge-dead lighter; nut-broken wrench; strings-junk from music shop; tail stock-old hinge; body-2 boogered up P.O.S. arturo fuente boxes; soundhole cover and bridge plate-brass knob plates. thing actually sounds good, all things considered. scrounging for this, i came home with a lot of material that would have ended up in some landfill. it wasnt a difficult decision for me either, despite the excellent quality of the other contenders, u really stood out. 6 gold stars for the creativity..
the hollow fretboard & 'floating' frets is perfect for some drones underneath ala sitar etc, u really got me thinking about some things that i previously thought may be beyond me..
