On the bench- mock up

Got this Factory Press box the other day. 1" x 7 1/2" x 14". So going with an under the box frame design, and a pup inlayed into the end of the fretboard.

    Bone frets. Go figure? :^). I'll post my new project this afternoon. You keep pushing the envelope Randy. Always going farther. You are an artist.

    Thx Dave...I used 3/8 Ironwood on top of a one piece curly maple neck and doing an ironwood under the box frame. So once it`s all glued up will be plenty strong to low profile the neck. Plus get to do some nice carvings, also been thinking of doing a few bone frets

    Beautiful Randy. I've wanted to try a neck pickup like this. I like the mellow sound up there.
