Thanx, Dave! This old thing is very fragile, I am amazed by it, whittled neck, pegs, etc. it truly is a relic. I agree, it probably came from that era.......very cool to have it!
Looks like one of the historical CBGs from the civil war erra. I like the slot sound holes. Very nice old box. Thanks and nice photo too...
