This one arrived at it's new home today. Apparently it will be paired up with a Fender blues deluxe reissue valve amp. Wow. Am I jealous.A friend gave me some sheets of expanded polystyrene, part of which I cut to make the packing. The guitar arrived in good condition. Phew.

Thanks for commenting. This was the first to be sold and the first to be sent so I was pretty nervous and just as relieved when it got there. It must be really annoying to have one damaged in transit.
Nice looking John! Great idea for the shipping. I had one go south on me not too far back with the shipping, a little piece got broken off the headstock.....might steal your idea!
I really appreciate the very kind comments. As Steve says, great relief that it got there in one piece. I kept looking at the tracking status to see where it was.

Now you need to put a ply case around that packing box hinges clasp and it will last 100 years! And a bit of felt on the inside!!
