...these are mushy pea tin mics (ask a Brit). Quick and easy to make, especially if you've got a bunch of pre-wired piezos in your pickup drawer, and they really work! The one on the left even has a volume pot, and that helps to reduce feedback. Working on a pre-amp hack as I write, but taking my time with the cabinet cos I want it to look good too: decus et tutamen.
