I regularly re-visit where I leave comments because I know the Ning software does not route the replies to me, but leaves them in the discussion thread. So, I found your reply -- no problems there.
That's para cord. Cool. Just what Bear Grylls (the guy on 'Man vs Wild') would use!
Hmmm... Maybe that's an angle to get some free CBG publicity. Send Bear a nice CBG with a para cord. He could use it on his next lost-in-the-wilderness episode to repel down Kilimanjaro, or something ;-)
Rand, I'm not sure how the heck to reply to your comments!? I don't see any "Reply" buttons...... So I hope you find my reply. I bought the nylon(?) cord (I think it's para cord or something) at a flee market for little bit-a-nothin' and just had it layin' around until I was thinking about making a guitar strap for Number 1. Just cut three strands of it about six feet long and had my wife braid it. I couldn't find an old belt so my wife gave me an old leather purse and I cut one strap end off and riveted it onto one end of the new strap. I cut a slot into the leather strap tip so it fit over the strap button and just tied the other end around the head stock. It says on the cording that it'll hold 1700 lbs (each strand!), so it should work fine!

Will add that to my shopping list.

Hi J.P.
I like that guitar strap. How did you make that? Hmmm... my wife braides my daughter's hair, I should go ask her.
