Hey Rick, the bass sounds nice. Truck rash is much more character building than mere buckle rash. I just got some old bass tuners in my mail today. I'm going to give a bass a try soon. Gathering parts. Got a bid in on a body. I've got some big old boxes too. Too big for a guitar, but a bass might be just right. And You're going to look like a monkey when you get old. ....
Saw this pic in the homepage slideshow, and I saw that little bit of pickguard and I knew it was your work. Always a beautiful touch, then I saw your Kingston and it finally hit me, I have an old Kent bass (paid too much for its conditon)., that's playable but been around the block, (dragged behind a pickup truck I think). I think I will try to Lynasize it, won't be as nice, but I will give it a touch and a facelift.
