Sad to say that I pinched the basic headstock shape from someone else. I liked the design because it fits with the squareness of the cigar box, and it's adaptable to either 3 or 4 string by just changing the angle slightly.
I much prefer magnetic pickups, but wanted to retain the simplicity of a basic cbg. I might try a corian strip with the next build with the piezo strip on top to see if it insulates the box sound to some extent.
....well, the build after the next one as I've already built the neck of the next one, to fit a manetic pickup!

Thanks for your honesty Bruce! Those darn piezos! I've got to try winding a mag pickup again.....my first two attempts didn't work at all.
Forgot to mention....your headstock design looks really cool on this one....I like it.
