This was another learning project--the box is so thin (1 inch) that after I recessed the neck under the lid, the only way to reinforce it was on the back, outside. Next time I'll use a deeper box and also spread the tuners farther apart. Fretboard is beech (I think) on 1/2 inch birch veneer. 22.75 scale length. Tailpiece is 1/2 inch copper pipe
