This was my first experiment with an all pressed wood product box. I had a little reluctance at first about them, but I can say this build sounds incredible...so deep and warm tons of volume in acoustic mode. My only reservation still is how well it will age? Needless to say gotta keep it dry!

    Hi Dave...yes I painted the neck black under the hole. Glad you like it!

    Thanks for the info. Did you paint it black or is it just down deep in the box? Boy this is a clean look.

    Yes it does, but it just protrudes enough out the tail to run the string guides through.

    What a beautiful neck. I like the sound hole too. Does the neck pass through the body?
