  Thanks Shane and Boxy. I think this one sounds especially good as I've fitted some bracing to the underside of the lid:

  

  My thinking was the extra rigidity will improve sustain. Turns out it did, but I think even more would have been better. It sounds great for some dirty blues riffing though.

  At least it's a clean carpet, ours is covered in loom bands (as yours would be if you had a seven year old girl living there!)

  Good solid-looking guitar, I like the Romeo boxes, I don't know what they are made of, but I always think they sound good.
