The Millonario box is made of paper, so I had to make this one a real solid body. I made a filler out of poplar, sized to fit the inside of the box and then glued it all in solid. After things dried, the process becomes identical to making a solid body guitar. The neck, pickup, and control cavities are milled out with a router. I did the neck pocket with a custom template and the pickup cavity was freehand. I have yet to do the control cavity.
