Here's the reason I think this neck doesn't go with the guit. The neck pocket isn't routed to accept a neck with those angles cut into the bottom of the heel. It's routed to accept something more like the strat neck.

Ok, I was wrong. I think this neck does belong to this guitar. Check the next pic.
