Mystery Guitar - Can anyone identify?

There is no label on this guitar...it's got a nice body and neck, so we're going to rebuild it with a new faceplate and electronics. Anyone recognize it?

    Yeah, it's the difference of 100$ for a gold foil and 22$ for a black dull foil off ebay.

    yeah , the shiny  black  foils are       more rare  and  saught  after then the    dull   grey/black,    ..  but  ironicly  sound the  same, imho  ;-)

      the  gold foils are the bees  kneees  that everyone   wants  tho .

    Yup a Tulip. I have one just like her and mine plays the best of all my electrics. These black foil pickups are very common, but they have a great tone.

    See if you can get Pic to look at it. Might be one of those Teisco's he loves or one similar.
