My sophisticated workbench

30" Short-Scale Bass with LaCuesta "Ambassador" display case for body, 1960's Vox-style neck and cello-inspired headstock. I'll be making my own "doodle bass" strings with grommet ball-ends. Fishman MKAB bass piezo and preamp will be fitted.I beleive in the 'front-porch" ethos of luthierie. My tools are minimal, and if the weather's poor, I go to the kitchen.
