No harder than a 3 string Gary but you need a truss rod, mine is uniquely routed in from the front, rather than being under a fretboard or from the back like a Telecaster, a design I'll be using from now on. The infill stripe is a strip of ebony fretboard on it's side.

A CB Uke, Oil can guitar and a neck and parts from a guitar I found in a dumpster fitted to a mahogany box!
