  • Thanks Uncle John. Yeah, I had no idea about CB Gitty at that time. I honestly don’t remember when I built it…sometime in the early 2000’s. I just remember dremeling out the slots for the flush frets and fighting with a nasty buzz from the pickup. That’s why the tin foil is under the bridge bolt; trying to get a ground wire to work. Didn’t own a soldering iron—lol.

  • A good looker.  Yup, got to build em' strong or the necks bow.   Other than the pick-up, this look like a very nice build from circa 2008 when I was first building.   Either CB Gitty was not around yet or word had not gotten out.   People scrounged for cool parts like those sink strainer sound hole covers.  Some of my first builds had piezos taken out of Radio Shack door bells.  It was  thrill when they worked.
