Good morning Wez, iv'e been thinking about a finger board for my guitar and the more i think about it the better the idea sounds lol i will make a start on it this week end lol.

Hi and thanks for your comment, i cut the hole useing a hand held fret saw and just taking small amounts at a time. To finish it off i used a small wood file, good luck with yours.

Did you build a fixture to cut the square hole for the neck? or do it by hand? I have a similar box, that looks so nice I don't want to mess up the hole, but everything I've built up to this point was with square-sided boxes.
Hi Wes, the guitar is finished now and you were right about the finger board the gap is a bit on the large side. I was pleased with the build but know my next one will be better ( fingers crossed ) thank you for your interest, if you have any more tips dont be shy lol

Neil, You are ambitious. The box you are using is challenging having the curved edges. I would suggest a fingerboard added to level out the top end -- if you aren't already doing that.
