if you look on the circuit board pick-guard there is a little black square with a little grey square in the center of it- that is the on-off switch for the guitar. the knob just controls the variance between the two pickups roll into the neck pickup or roll into the bridge pickup i like the fact that you can dial in better tones with a potentiometer in place of a three way switch. this is a slide guitar players dream guitar,i built it fer myself but two people has talked me out of it after it was built the second person being my brother.he owns it now.
