  • Look up excellence in the dictionary and you will see this picture.  Nice!
  • I actually want to do just that with a telecaster body blank, but haven't gotten the stuff together for it yet.
  • Interesting.  I made my LP types with a neck through and hollow wings added onto the neck tone block with a

carved maple top..similar to the LPs.  Now I'm not sure whether to call them semi-solid or semi-hollow.

On one of them, the body is a full 3 inches thick, on the other about 2.5 inches thick , compared to

an LP which is about 1.5 inches thick.  Just like with yours, I like to experiment with mine.

  • It's actually not a solid body.  It's a semi hollow, but without sound holes.  Somewhat like a Les Paul.
  • Thanks.  Yeah.  They made one... kinda like a mix between a strat and a tele.
  • Very nice work...solid body too. Didn't Fender also make a Mustang?

  • Thanks... means alot.  You folks have inspired me so much with your own designs.  I have yet to learn how to play though.  Hopefully, after I finish the Trans Am and Coup De Ville, I'll take some time off from building and actually play some.
  • Charger has potential.
  • Wow - that's a beauty!  Very clean and classy.  Makes me want to tear up my Fender Squire and put all the parts into a new body. :)
  • my son would love to see a 69 General Lee Charger.
