I have built a few banjos and dulcijos and they have different challenges. I do like your build. I will share a few things I picked up. A ring bowl maker is a great tool for making banjo pots. Don't use cheap tuners on your 5th string. there are various stores that sell tins of popcorn with lids that have a clear plastic inset, these make excellent banjo tops.
