I feel you with cigar boxes, since they’re never all the same size in an assortment, you have to compensate on each one. Looks great, it’s been a long while since I built one of those backpacker style guitars, they sure sell fast!
Bring on the clones! Looking good Ron. Production runs can really save some time especially setup and clean up time v.s. One at a time. That is … once you have the kinks in the design worked out
This is the first time I have done a 6-unit production run and it is really speeding things up. I have also been making a lot of notes and taking pics. I will eventually sit down at the drafting table and make some drawings. This should really speed things up. I have tried making multiple runs of cigar box guitars but, I never had duplicate boxes and I would invariably get necks and parts confused and it actually slowed me down.
