The neck fits the box nice but I was kind of nervous during the gluing and clamping process. Crooked necks are hard to fix. I didn't screw the neck in place as per directions. It's easier (to my way of thinking) to shape the neck and finish it before fastening it with screws. Already got my whittle lines drawn. The carving and filing and sanding starts tomorrow. • I found that out the hard way building the Reso Plate kit Keith. Had to make a special screw driver to take the screws out after gluing the top on. I like these Gitty kits. Will probably build a couple more in the future.

  • Agreed, don't screw neck in, until you have shaped it. Been working on one, a little bit at a time, over months lol. Made the mistake of screwing it in, before shaping, wrong thing to do.
