Got the box and neck glued up. The neck brace that came with the kit was only 13 5/8" long. I cut a piece of poplar I had to 16" so it would be under the 14th fret.

It looks to me like there is a slight angle to the neck on this kit Keith. Could just be my old eyes though. The bridge height on the Reso Plate kit worked out perfect without removing to much wood. I did have to sand a bit off to make it set level. The licence plate bowed inward some under pressure from the strings but the action come out right where I like it. Not to high and not to low.
I wanted a bit of angle, so I filed down the entrance hole, and the end of the extension board, on top just a tad. Was reading that the bridge is a bit over sized in height, so figured it would still work.
