With the electronics installed (a simple rod piezo plugged into its supplied 1/4" jack, just under the lid and bridge), I can now set up the saddle bridge. This step must be done very carefully, there can be no mistakes or "re-do's". I've got to get the correct string ratio or the guitar will not play in tune, and I've got to get it in center, so the strings will fall correctly in parallel to the neck. So with a straight edge, I carefully check, and check, and check each side where the first and sixth strings will fall to ensure that there will be the same measurement on each side of the neck edge.
