  • man thats nice. i tried some teak tight grain on a 45 angle. it took 3 trys and two trips to the nurse for stitches. heh. grand job!

  • I cut out the basic shape on my scroll saw, then take the dremel and do the cut outs around the feet then hand sand the rest to shape it. Takes some time but the end result is a fine looking and working acoustic bridge.

  • Yeah thats some hard ass wood !! alot harder then ebony so to get it to look like that requires alot of hand sanding with different grits.

  • Thats nice work.

just got myself a banjo 3 weeks ago. I am in Chicgo tuning right triyng to get the feel of it.

I have some zeba wood off cuts I might have to try to make one now i have seen that hope you dont mind ;-)

  • Lovely work.

    Cheers,
    Steve
  • Cool Randy, was it tough working on endgrain like that? I would imagine you have to be very careful eh?
