pretty fast, I still take my time but no more measuring. also I don't want to cut too aggressively and wallow out the slots. My fret board is cut longer than needed so I can screw it to the miter box at each end, then clamp to my workbench. This keeps everything stable. I'm tired of screwing up fret boards. this has helped.
