This was my first full experimental model. It is made with an unknown Japanese hardwood for the neck and Birdseye maple for the fretboard. Ultimately it sounded pretty good but I found that I had shaped the neck a little too thin and the neck flexes too easily while playing. I think I will end up making a new neck for it. I love the color of the box with the brass trimmings from cbgitty.com. I think it's an elegent looking CBG....I just need to work out the bugs in it.Also, I hot glued the piezo transducer to the backboard instead of the soundboard and I get very little volume from it and I will have to destroy the piezo in order to remove it from the back soundboard, although I will probably replace it with one of the pre-amp kits from cbgitty.com.

Hey Tim. I really liked the box but felt the top was a little too think for good sound vibration. But it still sounded pretty good. I think next time I would cut the sound holes smaller.
I just sold it for cash and trade on this Diablo box. I am totally stoked about building with this box.
