  • Hi Jeff, "wandering string spacing is exactly what it does, haven't had any string buzzing probably because the bridge is high enough to compensate for the lack of a proper nut, as popular as these things are it's hard to believe that they are built this way and even more that they sell for $185....and I don't personally like floating bridges theres not enough string tension to really hold them securely, I have moved it just by bumping it with my hand while strumming which puts it out of tune a bit. but it can all be dealt with so I will fix it and play it, it does have a cool sound from it's little box.
  • Great deal. I'd buy them all day long for that price. Well, probably not. My money would run out WAY before the day did. ;)

I've always liked a zero fret, but all the ones (zero fretted basses & guitars) I've played/made have a "regular nut" very near the zero fret. It seems like not having one would make it susceptible to string buzz and, for lack of a better vocabulary, wandering string spacing.

  • I like it but it has flaws, the neck seems a bit small, there is no nut on neck, rather where strings wrap onto tuners there is a plastic insert in front of each tuner which the strings groove into, and the first fret kind of acts like the nut which the strings appearantly cut into easily also plus the spacing between the strings seems closer together than a reegular guitar or cbg.
