  railroaddon,this is actually how i started with cigar box guitars,i made a frame like this to make my own box before i could ever get my hands on a cigar box.my first build was like this with a budwieser beer box fer the body.
  

  

  now i still use the frame principal only with cigarbox lids and backs.
