My slides are made of Grolleg Porcelain. Fired to cone 10 in reduction. Lots of variety in bore, length, thickness and color.

    Yes Oily. You can see the red ones clearly. The black ones are very dark brown. A glaze called "Pete's Black" that is black with brown edges. Some of the reds are deep red breaking white on the rim and some are lighter red with tiny white dots.

    lookin    good  ..    and   the slide  i  got   from  you  holds  sustain  till  the cows  come home  ..    great  stuff  .. now  i   got my  eye  on that  dark burg  /  red one   in the  back  ;-)
